Relationship Therapy

Support for people who wish to improve communication and foster healthier relationships

Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Next Chapter Relationship Therapy Page

Building and maintaining healthy relationships with the people around you isn't always easy.

Tough experiences and differing priorities can mean relating becomes strained, less productive or non-existent.

Maybe you feel like you're going over the same things time and time again, and nothing seems to change.

Add to this the pain of bereavements, betrayals, stress, disappointed hopes and the constant distraction of balancing work and home commitments.

Relationships can become neglected and connections can feel distant or fractious.

At Next Chapter Matthew supports clients who wish to improve their relationships by opening channels of honest communication.

This allows clients the space and time to be heard and better understood . Relating more openly means clients have the opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings together, to help discover the right way forward.

Relationship therapy can be useful for:

  • Couples in intimate relationships
  • Engaged couples wanting to create a strong foundation for commitment
  • Family members
  • Work colleagues
  • Friends

My location

Matt has an office in Morley, Leeds, which has been specifically built for counselling. It is therefore a calm, quiet and private space. The office lighting is diffused and the temperature is easily adjusted.

The office is a 10 minute walk from both Morley train station and Morley town centre.

There is a toilet next to the counselling room and drinking water is provided.

The counselling room in located down a sloped driveway. There is a door threshold to enter the room, which may cause a problem for clients using wheelchairs. Please contact me for more details about accessibility.

Fees & availability

Relationship Therapy sessions are 60 minutes, usually taking place on a weekly basis, and cost £60 per session.
